Emeril Lagasse is chef and proprietor of 12 restaurants and a national television personality who has hosted over 1,500 hugely popular shows, including Essence of Emeril and Emeril Live on Food Network. He recently launched The Emeril Lagasse Show, a weekly primetime series, airing on ION Television that captures the New Orleans chef’s passion for people, entertainment, music, and food. He is also the host of Emeril Green, an original series exploring fresh and seasonal ingredients that airs on Discovery Channel’s Planet Green. Apart from television, Emeril has a live, call-in radio program, Cooking with Emeril, airing twice a week exclusively on Martha Stewart Living Radio on SIRIUS XM.
Chef Lagasse is also the best-selling author of 15 cookbooks, including Emeril’s New Orleans Cooking, which introduced his creative take on Creole cuisine. His latest book, Farm to Fork: Cooking Local, Cooking Fresh is scheduled to be released on June 1. Emeril's Homebase, Chef Lagasse’s restaurant company, is located in New Orleans and houses culinary operations, a test kitchen for recipe development, and a boutique store for his signature products.
In 2002, he established the Emeril Lagasse Foundation to support children’s educational programs that inspire and mentor young people through the culinary arts, nutrition, healthy eating, and important life skills.
